This Product License (the “License”) governs your use of the paid digital products sold by Bobb Alexander Solutions (“B&A,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through bobbalexandersolutions.com (the “Site”). By purchasing, downloading, duplicating, or using any Licensed Product, you agree to this License.
This License applies to the paid products listed below. It does not apply to the free Problem-Scoping Template, which is released separately under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
1. Licensed Products
This License covers the following products (each, a “Licensed Product”):
- AI Readiness Scorecard
- AI Project Scoping Kit
- “Not an AI Problem” Decision Pack
- Build / Buy / Wait Toolkit
- AI Vendor Vetting Workspace
- The Operator’s AI Workspace
Each Licensed Product may include one or more components — a Notion template delivered by a duplicate-as-template link, a spreadsheet or document file, and accompanying guidance. All components of a Licensed Product are covered by this License.
2. License Grant
Subject to your payment and continued compliance with this License, B&A grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Licensed Product for your own personal use or the internal business use of a single person or single business entity (“single-user”).
“Single-user” means one individual, or one business entity and its employees, for that entity’s own internal purposes. A separate purchase is required for each additional individual or entity that will use the Licensed Product.
3. What You May Do
Under this License, you may:
- Duplicate the Licensed Product’s Notion template once into your own Notion workspace for your single-user use
- Download and use any file components (e.g., spreadsheet or document files) provided with the Licensed Product
- Modify, adapt, and build upon your own copy of the Licensed Product for your internal use
- Create your own exports (e.g., to Markdown or PDF) of your duplicated copy for your own reference
Your modifications and exports remain subject to the restrictions in Section 4.
4. What You May Not Do
Except as expressly permitted above, you may not:
- Redistribute the Licensed Product or any component of it — including sharing the Notion duplicate-as-template link, the duplicated page, or any file — with any other person or entity
- Resell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Licensed Product or any derivative of it
- Publicly share or publish the Licensed Product or your duplicated copy (including posting it publicly on the web, in a shared drive, in a template gallery, or in any public or semi-public forum)
- Distribute, sell, or share derivative works based on the Licensed Product
- Use the Licensed Product, in whole or in part, to build, market, or offer a competing product or service
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, license, or attribution notices contained in the Licensed Product
- Use the Licensed Product or its content to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any artificial intelligence or machine-learning model
- Use the Licensed Product for any unlawful purpose
The single-user grant is the core of what you purchased. Sharing a Licensed Product with people or entities who have not purchased their own license is the principal violation this License exists to prevent.
5. Ownership
Bobb Alexander Solutions retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Licensed Products, including all intellectual property rights. This License grants you a right to use the Licensed Product; it does not transfer ownership of it. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by B&A. See our Copyright Notice.
6. Refunds and License Termination
Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. In summary:
- Because Licensed Products are duplicable digital goods, all sales are final once the product has been delivered and accessed, except as stated in the Refund Policy (e.g., failure to deliver; a product materially different from its description, reported within 14 days; duplicate purchases made in error).
Refund terminates this License. If you receive a refund for a Licensed Product, this License and all rights granted under it end immediately. You must stop using the Licensed Product and delete all copies, duplicates, exports, and derivatives in your possession or control. Retaining, using, or redistributing a refunded Licensed Product is a violation of this License and of our Terms of Use.
7. Termination for Breach
This License terminates automatically if you materially breach any of its terms, including any prohibition in Section 4. On termination, you must stop using the Licensed Product and delete all copies, duplicates, exports, and derivatives. Sections 4, 5, 8, 9, and 10 survive termination.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
LICENSED PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, B&A disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Licensed Products are informational tools. They do not constitute legal, financial, technical, or other professional advice, and are not a substitute for professional judgment. Some Licensed Products were built with AI assistance under human review (see our AI Use Disclosure); AI-assisted content may contain errors, and you are responsible for verifying any output before relying on it. Your use of a Licensed Product is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, B&A WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF A LICENSED PRODUCT.
B&A’S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO A LICENSED PRODUCT OR THIS LICENSE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE LICENSED PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100.00 USD.
Some states do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
This License is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Before filing any formal legal claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and allow 30 days for informal resolution. If informal resolution fails, any legal action will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Union County, New Jersey, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
This License, together with our Terms of Use, Refund Policy, and Copyright Notice, constitutes the entire agreement between you and B&A regarding the Licensed Products. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will stay in effect.
